Emergency Department Manager (Nights) Job Details Georgetown, KY Monday-Friday (flexible start time): 3p-11p, 4p-12a, or 5p-1a Pay: $75,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year Overtime possible Permanent Emergency Department Manager Requirements – Active RN license in the state of KY – 3 years of prior experience in Emergency or Intensive Care fields – Must be open to working night shifts Nice-to-Haves – Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred – Master’s Degree preferred About the Emergency Department Manager Role – Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards in alignment with clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements. – Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, service level determination, and complaint management, to meet performance and quality control objectives. – Plans and oversees staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education. – Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates internal/external audits. – Creates a professional growth environment that encourages staff development. – Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols to ensure high-quality care.
