Surgical Dental Assistant Job Details Lexington, KY Monday-Wednesday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM; Thursday, 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM; Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM Pay: $18-22 per hour depending on experience Temp with intent to hire Surgical Dental Assistant Requirements; Current certification as a Dental Assistant. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a surgical dental setting. Ability to assist with oral and maxillofacial procedures. Proficiency with dental practice management software is preferred. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. About the Surgical Dental Assistant Role: Assist in oral surgeries, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare surgical rooms and sterilize instruments following strict hygiene protocols. Assist the oral surgeon during procedures, including anesthesia administration and post-operative care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers. Ensure a smooth workflow in the practice by supporting the oral surgeon and other dental staff.
