Position: RN PCU Location: Lexington, KY Pay: $52 Schedule: 7 pm-7:30 am (3×12 hour shifts) 14-week contract As a Registered Nurse PCU, you can expect to: -Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition -Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters -Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use -Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs -Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers -Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit Excellent candidates with have the following experience, education and/or experience: -RN license KY or Compact -Experience with trauma surgical patients in a level 1 trauma center. -BLS and ACLS required. -Abdominal surgery experince -Epic Experience required About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies so they can build rewarding careers and strong organizations together.
