Preventive Maintenance Technician Job Details Location: Shelbyville, KY Schedule: Sunday – Thursday Shift: 11:00 pm to 7:30 am Pay: $17.00 to $20.00 Employment Type: Temp to Hire Preventive Maintenance Technician Responsibilities -Perform preventive maintenance on plant mechanical equipment and systems. -Utilize hand tools proficiently for maintenance tasks. -Read and interpret manuals and PM instructions accurately. -Work independently with minimal supervision. -Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to ensure required parts and tools are available. -Follow all safety procedures and use necessary personal protective equipment. -Maintain and utilize your own set of essential hand tools. Preventive Maintenance Technician Requirements -Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in industrial maintenance or an accredited certificate/degree in a mechanical discipline. -Experience working with mechanical systems including gearboxes, pumps, motors, drive and pulley systems, bearings, and other drive components. -Welding or plumbing experience is a plus.
