Senior Planner Scheduler Job Details Location: Eminence, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay: 75k to 95k/annually Job Type: Direct Hire and/or Contract Senior Planner Scheduler Responsibilities -Develop and maintain the master production schedule to ensure production plans are achieved. -Analyze material loading and scheduling to optimize machine efficiency, set-ups, and inventory levels. -Monitor and adjust weekly and monthly production capacities for each product group. -Ensure orders are completed on time and in full, maintaining stellar delivery performance. -Expedite orders and prioritize production flow based on business needs. -Communicate schedule updates and changes to appropriate personnel. -Collaborate with the Production Control Manager and Operations Managers to improve plant performance. -Ensure inventory accuracy through best practices in cycle counts, shipping, and receiving verification. -Lead interdepartmental communication, influencing teams to meet production goals. -Utilize lean tools and root-cause problem-solving to drive continuous improvement. Senior Planner Scheduler Requirements -B.S. degree in Engineering. -7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. -Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material specifications, and logistics. -Experience with Enterprise or Materials Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) software, spreadsheets, and databases. -Must be action-oriented with proven success in fast-paced environments. -Ability to handle scheduling, material flow, and production constraints effectively. Preferred Qualifications: -B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. -Lean or Six Sigma training.
