Stand-up Forklift Order Picker DETAILS 2nd shift Location: Washington, MO About the Stand-up Forklift Order Picker role Operates a stand-up forklift to pick up customer orders using scan guns to verify each order is accurately picked, and then transport orders to the appropriate packing areas. – Filling and transporting customer orders, using industrial lifts, working up to 25 feet in the air with a 5-point harness. – Ensures each order is accurately picked promptly. – May be assigned to various other DC departments to meet company goals. – All other duties as assigned by the manager. – Ability to safely operate a stand-up forklift and be certified to operate the equipment. – Ability to read and interpret documents such as prints, orders, and instructions. – Ability to apply concepts of basic math. – Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as quantities and combined box counts. – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. – Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations. – Ability to adapt and change as business needs change daily.

– High school degree or equivalent preferred. – Experience operating/driving a stand-up forklift. – Ability/availability to work overtime as needed. – While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift for a full shift – Regularly required to lift/move/push or pull weight of up to 50 lbs – The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms requiring dexterity and handling or working with packages or equipment – Specific vision abilities this job requires include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
