Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) Location: La Grange, KY Pay: $46/hour Schedule: First Shift Position Type: Full-Time About the Emergency RN Role Crown Staffing is seeking an Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced healthcare setting in La Grange, KY. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to medical emergencies. The Emergency RN will assist in assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs, while ensuring the highest standard of patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities -Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions in the healthcare unit and housing units when necessary. -Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare practitioners and other staff. -Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapy (if certified), in accordance with physician orders and protocols. -Maintain accurate records by documenting nursing encounters using SOAP charting. -Monitor controlled substances, syringes, and sharps, performing inventory counts at shift changes. -Respond to emergency codes and health crises following standard medical guidelines and safety procedures. -Obtain diagnostic tests, including EKGs and body fluid specimens, ensuring proper procedures are followed. -Assist in minor surgical procedures and medical interventions as needed. -Implement nutritional and therapeutic diet plans based on healthcare provider recommendations. Emergency RN Requirements -Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact license). -Experience in emergency or critical care nursing preferred. -Ability to work under pressure and make sound clinical decisions. -Strong understanding of infection control procedures, patient safety protocols, and emergency response techniques. -Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. -Excellent communication and documentation skills.
