Job Description
Responsibilities:
Sales order entry, maintenance, and follow-through to customer receipt of the
product to ensure on-time delivery of all customer accounts assigned.
Developing and maintaining positive customer relations to ensure customer
requests are handled appropriately and promptly.
Coordination with operations and various departments within the company and
externally to ensure all customer requests/issues are handled appropriately.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, pricing, and
production/shipping schedules to ensure positive customer relations and to
recognize new business opportunities.
Providing support on A/R resolution and closure including invoice researching
and pricing verifications.
The ideal candidate must be resourceful, proactive and apply critical thinking skills in
problem-solving, managing multiple tasks, and juggling priorities.
Job Requirements
Requirements are:
High School diploma or equivalent.
5-7 years of Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment is a
must. Knowledge of injection molding/metal stamping industries preferred.
A high level of accuracy in alpha/numeric data entry. Proficiency with PC
software applications and BaaN software experience is helpful.
Good organizational skills in conjunction with excellent oral and written
communication skills to work effectively with others. Ability to provide
professional correspondence to customers via e-mail and good telephone skills
are required. Must be able to work both independently and effectively in a
team environment.
