Job Description
Job Title: admin
Days and hours worked (include if overtime possible and/or mandatory): M-F 8am-4:30pm
Pay rate/range: $20
-Delayed start – has pre-employment reqs prior to start such as background check, drug
test etc.
-Interview required – resume and drug background check
Responsibilities:

Embraces and promotes brand values while delivering customer care principles.
Assists in maintaining the appearance of the facility in a professional, clean, and organized manner, consistent with Makita’s brand image, daily.
Ability to create, edit, complete, and research repair and sales invoices on the computer.
May handle monetary transactions and assist with the daily reconciliation of the cash drawer.
Receives tools for repair, creates repair job in computer, places tools in the queue for repair.
Prepare tools and part orders for shipment as required and complete the daily shipping process.
Checks all incoming stock orders against appropriate purchase orders and packing lists.
Receives stock orders into the computer system and puts stock away in designated locations.
Assist in managing parts inventory accurately. Assist in physical inventory. Research and resolve discrepancies.
Assists in managing and maintaining office supplies.
Keeps work and storage areas clean, safe, and secure.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Requirements (including PPE):
Understanding of basic computer skills including but not limited to email, word processing, spreadsheet, and PowerPoint software.
Customer service skills and establishing rapport with Makita customers.
Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to communicate with Makita customers and department staff.
Ability to notify customers of repair estimates, completed repairs, and orders ready for pick up.
Problem-solving abilities to assess a situation and keep assigned projects moving forward and on track.
Able to maintain processes and files with integrity.
Knowledge of power tool types.
Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
