Land Surveyor DETAILS Pay: $36-39 based on experience. Trial to Hire Monday – Friday | 7:00 am to 4:00 pm The work schedule may vary depending upon the workflow of the office. Overtime as needed to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Full-time position About the Land Surveyor role • CAD Design and drafting • Construction surveying and layout o Maintain grades for construction crews • Real Estate Development / Construction Projects • Construction staking – Grades, road, utility. • Track project quantities for pay estimate approvals • Topography and Volume estimates • Construction survey drawings • Construction Plans and as-builts • Topography maps • Volume estimates • Drone surveys

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Land Surveying or Associates in Land Surveying • Professional Land Surveyor is not required but would be considered a plus or the ability to become a PLS in the State of Illinois. • Strong computer and technical skills, creative/design performance skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Team player; ability to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal. • Ability to work independently • Have excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities as required. • The preferred candidate will have knowledge of industrial and commercial construction and be familiar with the terminology of such an office. • Surveying background – GPS-Topcon System • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, this is not required but would be considered a plus. • Drone license a plus.
