Maintenance Technician Job Details Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $25.00 per hour Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Perform maintenance on equipment used in feed mill operations, including forklifts, feed carts, hammer mills, pellet mills, air compressors, and other production equipment Work in feed production Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems Weld and fabricate equipment and parts as needed Conduct routine lubrication inspections and maintain inspection records Minimize production downtime by performing preventative maintenance Document all major repairs and maintenance in repair logs Stay organized and flexible in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment Electrical experience is a plus Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision Maintenance Technician Requirements Mechanical skills required, including basic welding, fabrication, plumbing, and hydraulic evaluation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established maintenance schedules Previous experience in a feed mill environment is helpful but not required Must be a self-starter and team player Strong organizational and documentation skills About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
