Router Operator Job Description Location: Jeffersonville, IN Pay Rate: $17.30/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (40 hours per week, overtime as needed) Position Type: Full-Time About the Router Operator Role Crown Staffing is seeking a skilled Router Operator to join our team. This position requires understanding the operation, general maintenance, and safety features of hand routers. The ideal candidate will ensure finished goods meet quality standards, maintain production levels, and adhere to safety regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities -Operate a hand router safely and efficiently. -Place finished goods on designated pallets. -Maintain acceptable production levels to meet company standards. -Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. -Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues. -Follow lockout-tagout safety procedures. -Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. -Receive and implement frequent supervision and assistance regarding machine setup. -Understand the basic functions of the machine to perform required tasks. Requirements -High school diploma or GED required. -1+ year of factory-related experience preferred. -Strong teamwork and time management skills. -Adherence to performance management and quality control standards. -Ability to work in an environment with airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration exposure.
