Fire Alarm Technician Job Description Location: Clarksville, IN Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $24-26/hour Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Fire Alarm Technician Role Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a thorough understanding of fire safety regulations, and the ability to work independently or within a team. Key Responsibilities -Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, control panels, and notification devices. -Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with local and national fire codes. -Respond to service calls and perform necessary repairs on malfunctioning fire alarm systems. -Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently and within budget. -Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and installations. -Provide training and guidance to clients on system operations and proper maintenance. -Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to fire safety and alarm systems. Fire Alarm Technician Requirements -High school diploma or equivalent required. -Kentucky License for Fire Alarm Inspections required. -NICET Level 1 & 2 preferred. -Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role. -Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and safety regulations. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Strong communication and customer service skills. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
