Assembler Job Description Location: New Albany, IN Pay: $20/hour Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Friday | 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Assembler Role Crown Staffing is hiring an Assembler in Clarksville, IN. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual to assemble components according to design specifications, ensuring product quality and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, reading blueprints, and troubleshooting assembly issues. Key Responsibilities -Operate and demonstrate proficiency with all assembly department equipment and tools, including forklifts, overhead cranes, power tools, and measuring equipment. -Read and comprehend blueprints, symbols, bills of materials, revisions, and detail drawings. -Assemble components according to design specifications, following step-by-step procedures. -Recognize and differentiate between inventory items such as fasteners, bearings, pulleys, motors, rollers, and drives. -Identify and troubleshoot issues during the assembly process. -Perform quality control procedures to maintain precision and accuracy. -Ensure a safe and organized work area, following all safety procedures. Assembler Requirements -1+ years of experience in assembly or a related field requiring mechanical ability and use of basic hand tools. -High attention to detail and precision. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints. -Proficiency in operating assembly equipment and tools. -Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities. -Commitment to safety protocols and procedures. -Strong organizational and communication skills. -Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques.
