Maintenance Supervisor Job Description Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $65,000 – $70,000 annually Position Type: Direct Hire About the Maintenance Supervisor Role Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility operations in Louisville, KY. This position ensures equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and adherence to safety policies while managing a team of maintenance employees. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in industrial maintenance and warehouse operations. Maintenance Supervisor Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 1-3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a maintenance setting. Skills & Knowledge: -Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a maintenance team. -Experience in equipment repairs and preventive maintenance. -Familiarity with production machinery and plant operations. -Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures. -Ability to train maintenance personnel and oversee facility compliance. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair -Ensure all machinery is properly maintained to meet production and quality standards. -Work with machine manufacturers and material vendors to resolve technical issues. -Oversee daily operations in the Machine Shop and Parts Room. Leadership & Training -Supervise and provide direction to maintenance personnel on day shifts. -Offer coaching and guidance to night and weekend shifts. -Conduct weekly maintenance meetings and ensure proper training programs for maintenance employees. Safety & Compliance -Monitor and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance. -Conduct periodic reviews and updates of the Lockout Plan. -Ensure all maintenance activities align with company safety and health regulations. Facility & Production Oversight -Track and analyze production floor data collection systems for operational improvements. -Serve as an interface between the Maintenance Manager and plant mechanics. -Act as a key member of the Plant Management Team to support operational goals.
