Location: La Grange, KY About the Correctional Officer Role – Safe and humane management of prisoners. – Interacting with prisoners to aid in rehabilitation programs. – Applying rules consistently and fairly. – Monitoring the integrity of the perimeter, locks, ventilation, etc. – Contact center operations and request personnel in the event of an emergency. – Overseeing inmate and prisoner transport – Restraining inmates when necessary.
