Responsibilities of the Forklift: – Operating a forklift. Assisting in & learning all aspects of the operation & the suitability for sale of all items produced during assigned hours, applying safe work policies & procedures, learning to ensure all orders are completed according to specifications provided, completing all paperwork & data entry, training crew members & learn how to operate equipment, and other duties assigned by management – Picking up corrugated board that’s banded off the floor without pallets. Requirements of the Forklift: – High School Diploma/GED required – Needs a working understanding of both written & spoken English – Able to read & use a non-metric measuring tape – Must be able to count & perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division) -.Must be able to perform a complete mechanical setup, accurately register the machine, operate the feed, cutting, stripping, and delivery sections of the machine, and have a reasonable knowledge of current Production Software -Able to bend and lift 70 lbs. without assistance, lift 10 lbs. continuously for prolonged periods, stand for prolonged periods and climb stairs.
