Facilities Regional Superintendent
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
About the Facilities Regional Superintendent Role
The Facilities Regional Superintendent is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, buildings, and physical grounds throughout multiple facilities, primarily outlet stores, operated by Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana (GCSI). This role serves as the lead point of contact for facility-related issues, manages relationships with stakeholders, and oversees on-site projects, including new site openings and renovations. The superintendent ensures high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities
-Travel to locations across Central and Southern Indiana using a company service vehicle to maintain and repair facilities.
-Serve as the primary contact for resolving facility-related issues.
-Provide on-site leadership for new site openings and renovation projects.
-Coordinate with contractors and vendors to complete necessary work.
-Ensure all facility work meets building codes and municipal requirements.
-Lead facility communication efforts, keeping stakeholders informed on repair timelines and work order statuses.
-Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and adjustments.
-Maintain parts and tool inventory in vehicles and storage areas.
Requirements
-Journeyman’s License in Electrical Carpentry Trades (certified completion of a four-year apprentice program).
-Experience leading full lifecycle construction projects, including organizing, planning, and overseeing tasks.
-Ability to supervise staff and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and customer service standards.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and experience with CMMS for work orders is a plus.
-Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
-Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively.
