Job Description
Use bills of materials, schematics, engineering documentation, test fixtures, and other electronic measurement equipment and tools to inspect, test and verify electronic assemblies.
Record resulting data in ERP system and other reports.
Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulations.
Represent in the most positive manner with prospective, current and former employees, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve.
Interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customers.
Learn and practice standard operating procedures.
Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by management.
Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Must be able to solder and desolder components.
An associate degree or 1-3 years or related experience or 2 year tech program
General fluency in English required, verbal & written
Must have a good knowledge of circuit boards and components
Preferred background of troubleshooting circuit boards
Attention to detail is a must
This person must have good mechanical aptitude
Must be able to read blueprints and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
Maintains required records of production and reports any inconsistencies or equipment issues following standard procedures
Must be able to visually inspect small items for accuracy
Must be able to handle small parts
Must have manual dexterity
Ability to file in numerical sequence
Must have basic computer skills
Must be dependable and have a good attendance and work ethic
