Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain the Amada CNC press brake machine, contributing to the accurate and efficient production of high- quality sheet metal products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Machine Setup and Tooling: Set up the Amada CNC press brake machine for daily operations. Install and adjust tooling based on job requirements. 2. Material Handling: Handle and position sheet metal components onto the press brake. Ensure proper alignment and positioning for accurate bending. 3. Operational Excellence: Program and operate the CNC press brake machine to bend sheet metal to required angles. Monitor machine operations, making real-time adjustments for precision. Clock in and out of each job to capture run times. Count your parts to ensure job is complete. 4. Quality Assurance: Inspect bent components for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to specifications. Address any quality issues promptly and report them to the supervisor. 5. Tooling Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on press brake tooling. Identify and replace worn or damaged tooling as needed.
