Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician – Cincinnati, OH (Pay: $18-$32/hr)
Crown Staffing is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati, OH to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient operations while adhering to food safety regulations and preventative maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment, including conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging lines, pumps, motors, and HVAC systems.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to resolve issues efficiently.
-Conduct repairs and adjustments to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
-Ensure all equipment meets USDA and OSHA standards for food manufacturing and workplace safety.
-Assist in installing and setting up new equipment, including electrical and mechanical components.
-Perform routine inspections of machinery to identify potential failures and recommend corrective actions.
-Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve equipment concerns affecting food safety and quality.
-Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain sanitary conditions.
-Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
-Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools.
Qualifications:
-Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical -Engineering, or related field preferred.
-Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a maintenance mechanic in a food manufacturing or similar environment.
-Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
-Welding and fabrication skills (MIG preferred).
-Proficiency with hand and power tools as well as diagnostic equipment.
-Knowledge of OSHA regulations, food safety standards, and GMPs.
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
