Job Summary: A great company in Schaumburg is looking for a motivated individual who can manage their own time and has experience working in a warehouse. They would be expected to handle all inbound and outbound shipments as well as maintain an accurate and organized inventory of over 1,500 different parts and machines. Responsibilities and Duties – Read pick lists for packaging and shipping of all orders, parcels, and LTL, inclusive – Load and unload items on trucks, unpack and document goods received from suppliers – Assist in annual full-cycle inventory counts – Organize and maintain an expanding inventory by optimizing space efficiency – Disassemble and reassemble crates containing top-heavy equipment for safe delivery – Repair/replace damaged skids and crates for secured packaging – Sweep warehouse floor, empty warehouse trash, break down and discard used boxes, and perform other basic warehouse upkeep – Order and stock packaging materials as needed – Other duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills Minimum Requirements: – 3 years working in a warehouse, packing and shipping goods – 1 year maintaining and organizing inventory, conducting cycle counts – High School diploma – Bilingual – Able to lift unassisted – Certified to drive a forklift – Experience with power tools such as chop saw, impact driver, reciprocating saw, etc – Basic knowledge of computers (I.E., website navigation for printing shipment labels and BOLs)
