Production Supervisor Job Details Location: Indianapolis, IN Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Occasional Saturdays Required Pay: $50,000 – $55,000 per year Position Type: Temp with Intent to Hire Production Supervisor Responsibilities -Lead and communicate effectively with the team to drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity -Maintain a safe and organized work environment -Schedule production and ensure department meets production requirements -Coordinate timelines and workflow with other departments -Supervise up to 30 hourly production employees -Adjust labor based on workload needs -Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real-time -Evaluate and implement strategies to improve production efficiency -Enforce company policies related to safety, quality, productivity, discipline, HR, and continuous improvement -Support and implement lean manufacturing and 5S practices -Occasionally work extended hours or weekends based on production demands Production Supervisor Requirements -High School Diploma or GED required -Previous supervisory and quality experience is a plus -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Mechanically inclined with knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment -Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 preferred -Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S principles preferred -Proficient in using measurement tools such as tape measures and digital calipers -Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel -Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills -Basic math skills required About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
