These positions will involve general labor, and material handling in Chicago These are temp to perm positions. 2nd shift, 3 pm-1130pm. There is a possibility that this will train on 1st shift for a week before moving to a permanent 2nd shift Payrate is based on experience 18-19/hr This role will be responsible for building wood crates about 60% of the time and the balance will be helping out on the buffing on the line. Duties can also include: -Build crates used to transport goods -Move product within the production floor -Wrap and move skids to staging areas -Operate pallet jacks- sit down forklift -Keep warehouse clean and organized -Ensure that materials are handled properly to avoid any damage to the product -Read and interpret documents and product masters -Assist in other areas of the plant as needed- General labor duties as assigned Why work with Crown? -Get paid weekly! -We offer benefits after 30 days -Temp to perm opportunities! Requirements: -Previous industrial experience and sit down forklift -Previous experience in a machine shop or machine operation/manufacturing is a plus -Good math and measurement skills -Ability to comply with pre-screen requirements.
