Paint Booth Operator Job Details Location: Paris, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday (Overtime and extended hours as needed) Pay: $17 Employment Type: Full-time, Temp/Temp-to-Hire/Permanent Paint Booth Operator Responsibilities Operate powder coating equipment, including the powder gun, spray booth, and oven. Adjust equipment settings to ensure an even, high-quality finish. Monitor the coating process for uniform application and defects, making adjustments as needed. Maintain and clean the powder coating booth, filters, pumps, and hoses. Perform color changeovers and testing to ensure coating consistency. Follow all safety and environmental regulations, including proper use of PPE and disposal of hazardous materials. Record production data, including powder usage and any equipment issues. Load and unload raw steel parts and bundle finished material using a banding machine for shipping. Collaborate with paint line team members, including painters, supervisors, and quality control, to meet production goals and quality standards.
