Security Service Technician Job Description Location: Clarksville, IN Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $21.00/hour Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Security Service Technician Role Crown Staffing is seeking a Security Service Technician to install, maintain, and service security alarm systems, access control, surveillance cameras, and other low-voltage security applications. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for customer service. Key Responsibilities -Install, configure, and test security alarm systems, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and CCTV surveillance systems. -Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal security system functionality. -Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective and timely solutions. -Respond to service calls and emergency requests, ensuring customer satisfaction. -Educate clients on system operations and best practices for maintaining security systems. -Maintain accurate service records, documenting installations, repairs, and inspections. -Stay updated on industry advancements, technology trends, and security regulations. Security Service Technician Requirements -High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification in electronics or a related field preferred). -Proven experience in installing and servicing security alarm systems, access control, and CCTV. -Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and low-voltage applications. -Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. -Strong communication and customer service skills. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
