Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately interpret and follow complex blueprint
drawings to determine the specifications and requirements for each project.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate various types of equipment,
including:
o MIG Welder (.035 – 1/16 wire)
o Handheld power tools (grinders, saws, drills, cutting equipment, and spray paint
equipment)
o Drill Presses
o Overhead Cranes
o Forklifts
o Vertical Saws
o Other metal fabrication machinery as required
• Physical Handling: Maneuver and lift parts/components weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Work Environment: Perform tasks in confined spaces (e.g., inside a cylinder as
small as 48” I.D.), which may involve extensive bending, kneeling, and lifting
components.
• Welding Codes Knowledge: Apply and adhere to various welding codes including
GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Welder/Metal Fabrication.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to operate welding and metal fabrication equipment safely
and effectively.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy components and work in confined spaces.
• Familiarity with welding codes (GMAW, SMAW, FCAW) and adherence to safety
standards.
• Willingness to travel as needed for customer service and project requirements.
