A planning & producing precast company is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance to demonstrate mechanical & electrical knowledge and repair abilities to gantry cranes, Tucker belt, forklifts, spotter trucks, end loaders, air compressors. 1st Shift: 7-4pm (must be available on-call) Location: Aurora, IL. Pay rate: $31.25 Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Weekly pay Direct deposit Direct hire KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Demonstrate mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities. Ability to manage multiple complicated priorities/tasks. Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently. Must have personal tool set.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: All duties assigned to Vehicle A and Trailer Mechanic B as well as the following: Ability to diagnose and repair various operating systems for gantry cranes, Tucker belt, forklifts, spotter trucks, end loaders, air compressors and other vehicle related equipment. Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and DC electrical systems. Ability to use parts/service manuals, read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Works with minimal supervision or assistance. Completes work orders/ tasks in a timely manner that are assigned by management. Proficient with computer, able to use Microsoft Office. Basic welding abilities. On call 24/7. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: High school/trade school diploma required. Must possess a minimum of 2 years-experience in related field. The ability to be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish speaking highly desirable. Able to complete third party training courses within supervisor’s timeframe.
