Job Description

We’re currently looking for a bi-lingual (Spanish & English) individual. with a potential $500 quarterly bonus based on performance. BONUS We really need the individual to understand that if they don’t have extensive experience already performing our type of work (which is most likely the case), they must go through extensive training (actually doing the work themselves) in each area of responsibility in order for them to build the knowledge base they’ll need to be a good supervisor at our facility. A. Position Purpose The Plant Foreman, under the direction of the General Manager, is responsible for the manufacturing throughput, inventory, & amp; labor staffing of our facility. B. Essential Functions a. Oversees production processes of location, resolves issues as needed. b. Approves and schedules maintenance work for equipment. c. Organizes location workflow, assesses projects and resource requirements. d. Ensures that location promotes a safety-focused culture, and ensures that equipment and facility meet company, and OSHA standards and regulations. e. Develops and delivers training, coaching, performance feedback, and coordinates development for the employees of the location as needed. f. Properly utilizes company communication tools such as IPS and Microsoft Outlook g. Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel. h. Performs other necessary functions as assigned. C. Qualifications Preferred a. Knowledge i. 5 years’ experience directly related to the truss industry. ii. 5 years’ experience in the production industry. iii. 5 years’ experience as certified forklift operator. iv. High school diploma. v. Current and valid Drivers’ License. b. Interpersonal i. Ability to maintain professional, long-term customer and business relationships and partnerships through industry networking. ii. Strong professional verbal and written communications skills. iii. Proven leadership skills, ability to motivate teams, develop and retain staff. iv. Ability to work effectively across all levels of management. v. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and delegate multiple tasks, simultaneous projects and conflicting deadlines. vi. A proactive and open-minded approach to resolving problems and delivering results. vii. Ability to thrive in a fast-faced, ever-changing environment.
