Material Prep Associate Details 1st shift Location: O Fallon, MO About the Material Prep Associate role -Performs a variety of tasks related to the handling, storage, and movement of materials: -Receiving and unloading: Receive materials, verify them against pack lists, and count and weigh parts -Shipping and packaging: Pick parts for shipment, prepare them for packaging, and use material moving equipment -Issuing materials: Issue materials to departments, update inventory quantities, and deliver parts to work areas -Monitoring inventory: Monitor inventory and report discrepancies to a team leader -Replenishing stock: Replenish, rotate, and combine stock as needed -Transferring parts: Transfer parts between bin locations using the company’s operation system -Adhering to policies: Understand and follow health, safety, and environmental policies -Operating equipment: Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, order-pickers, and dollies -Following instructions: Read and understand work instructions or follow oral instructions -Material prep associates may also be responsible for loading and unloading transport items, recording inventory statuses, and ensuring deliveries match purchase orders.
