Wire and stick welding : The Wire and Stick Welder is responsible for performing welding tasks using wire and stick methods to maintain and repair equipment and structures within the tire facility. Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete welding assignments accurately. Quality Control: Inspect welded joints and structures for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and specifications. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of hazardous materials. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate repair schedules and resolve any issues related to welding tasks. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience with wire and stick welding techniques in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Certification: Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS) preferred.
