About the CNC Programmer role – Develop CNC programs based on engineering blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing requirements. – Analyze engineering drawings and CAD models to determine the most efficient machining processes. Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates to optimize production. – Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, tooling, and fixtures. – Perform test runs to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of CNC programs. Make adjustments to programs and machine settings as needed for quality and productivity improvement. – Collaborate with engineers and machinists to resolve any technical issues or challenges during the programming and machining processes. – Monitor the machining process to detect any abnormalities or deviations from specifications. – Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. – Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
