Job Description

State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) DETAILS 1st Shift | 3rd Shift Location: Georgetown, OH About the State Tested Nursing Assistants role – Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. -Perform regular monitoring of vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff. -Help residents or patients with mobility challenges to move safely, including transferring to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs. -Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as necessary. Ensure that dietary restrictions are followed. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including documenting changes in health status and reporting any concerns to the nursing team. -Effectively communicate with residents, patients, and their families to provide emotional support and address any questions or concerns. -Work collaboratively with the nursing and healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care. -Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to create a safe and clean environment for residents and patients. -Stay current with the training and certifications required for the STNA role. Job Requirements

-State certification as a Nursing Assistant (STNA) is required. -High school diploma or equivalent. -CPR and First Aid certifications. -Ability to lift and move patients with varying levels of assistance. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward residents, patients, and their families. -Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
